In the last days of November, 17 gas cylinders worth more than PLN 3,000 were stolen in Bolesławiec. KPP: – The information gathered provided grounds for the criminal investigators to identify the suspect. The 25-year-old from Bolesławiec County was arrested.

In order to get to the container with the gas cylinders, he destroyed another company’s entrance gate and damaged a camera that could have recorded his actions. The 25-year-old then broke into the container and carried 17 gas cylinders to his car, quickly finding customers for them.
The arrested man has similar offences on his record. He has now been charged with two offences: property damage and burglary. Steps are being taken to recover the stolen cylinders.
The 25-year-old faces up to 10 years in prison.
