Bolesławiec City Hall:
The Lower Silesian Voivode, by Decision No. 20/2022 dated 29 November 2022, granted the Investor—the General Director for National Roads and Motorways—permission to carry out a road investment involving the expansion and reconstruction of national road No. 94 (formerly No. 4), together with the construction (demolition and construction) of a road bridge over the Bóbr River in Bolesławiec, named by the Investor: “Expansion of the transport system, including the reconstruction of the existing bridge and construction of a new bridge over the Bóbr River along national road No. 94 (formerly No. 4) in Bolesławiec, Lower Silesian Voivodeship.”
It is worth recalling that the project is scheduled for 2023–2025. As part of the investment, a two-carriageway road section with two parallel bridges over the Bóbr River—one for each carriageway—will be built in place of the existing single-carriageway road and bridge.
In addition, two intersections will be reconstructed—the intersection with Zgorzelecka Street and the intersection with Widok Street—by building a new roundabout and reconstructing the existing roundabout. A pavement will be added on the northern side of national road No. 94, starting from Spacerowa Street.
Cycle paths and a pedestrian-and-cycle path will be built. Bus bays will be moved outside the main traffic-flow zone, with bus platforms constructed. A stormwater drainage system and road lighting will be installed, and conflicts with telecommunications, power, water-supply and gas networks will be removed.
