The incident occurred on Friday, November 25, at kilometer 54 of the A4, just before the exit to Szczytnica. The truck driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the energy-absorbing barriers. The truck became suspended on them.
Fortunately, no one suffered more serious injuries. Firefighters and police officers are at the scene. The police report the following about the incident:
The driver of a Mercedes truck, a 46-year-old resident of the Masovian Voivodeship, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to hit the energy-absorbing barriers and the viaduct. At present, the man does not require hospitalization. Traffic disruptions are occurring in connection with the incident.

(...) at 12:20 p.m., we were dispatched to a truck accident on the A4 at kilometer 55 in the direction of Wrocław. We arrived at the scene as the first unit. Our task was to secure the scene and limit the spread of petroleum-based substances.
Fortunately, no one was injured. Also at the scene were two JRG Bolesławiec units, OSP KSRG Różyniec, EMS, the police and the road operator.
