What will the route of the North-Eastern Bolesławiec Bypass be, and what will the work involve? These questions were discussed during the joint session in the conference room of BOK-MCC by Leszek Loch, Director of the Lower Silesian Road and Railway Service in Wrocław. The company Trasa from Poznań was selected to prepare the design. Of several variants developed, the one presented at today’s session was selected.

The 6.3-kilometre bypass will run from Kruszyn to Łąka. A second roundabout will be built on DK94, closer to Kruszyn. The bypass will run from the new roundabout over the railway line, where a viaduct will be built. The new bypass is to be connected to the extension of Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec.

The bypass will then avoid Chościszowice, and a roundabout will be built where the new bypass intersects the county road before Kraśnik Dolny. Finally, the new bypass will connect via a junction near the A4 motorway, beyond the village of Łąka. A cycle path will be built along the bypass.

Completion of the design work and obtaining the permits is planned for the second quarter of 2023.

Construction is expected to take two years.

The final deadline for completing construction of the bypass is 2026.

The investment will cost PLN 64,635,472.20.
