Bolesławiec City Hall:

The project involves restoring a valuable natural monument. The site is listed in the register of monuments. It is a park designed by the famous German landscape architect Eduard Petzold. The picturesque park was established in the 1850s; it had a small pond, a bridge and a Neo-Gothic pavilion.

The area of the park on Zgorzelecka Street undergoing revitalization is 1.3237 hectares. The park is located directly next to the historic Pückler Palace, which is currently undergoing a comprehensive renovation and adaptation to serve as the headquarters of the Museum of Ceramics.

The park’s revitalization involves improving biodiversity and restoring its practical function, transforming a deserted and neglected site into an attractive space capable of hosting many outdoor activities.

The project includes, among other things, restoring the layout of the park paths and inspecting the tree stand, including the care of mature trees and new plantings. To restore its original character, the fence, fountain, retaining walls and small architectural features will also be renovated, and electrical, water-supply and sanitary-sewer systems will be built. Completion of the park revitalization work is planned for August 2023.

The contractor for the works is “Agencja usługowa Stanisław Cap” from Święty Wojciech near Międzyrzecz, while the design was prepared by “GREENTEC – STUDIO Wojciech Bobek” from Wieliczka. The value of the project is PLN 4,955,778. The project is co-financed by the Polish Government Fund Polski Ład.
