Bolesławiec traffic police, while conducting a night patrol in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, stopped a passenger vehicle carrying three people for inspection. KPP Bolesławiec:

The driver's behavior raised the officers' suspicions. A sobriety test was negative, but a drug test was positive.

The 41-year-old told police that he had previously taken painkillers. He claimed that this was why the test detected amphetamine in his system.

The officers immediately confiscated the suspect's driving licence. The resident of Bolesławiec County now faces up to two years in prison.
