One of the important issues discussed during the October session of the Bolesławiec County Council was the education of children and adolescents admitted to the psychiatric hospital in Bolesławiec. The starosta Tomasz Gabrysiak:

It was decided that, starting from the 2022/2023 school year, three special education classes would be organized—two primary school classes and one secondary school class—at the Regional Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill in Bolesławiec, in order to educate children and adolescents staying at this healthcare facility.

As the starosta explained to the councilors, this is in accordance with the Education Law. T. Gabrysiak added that children and adolescents from across the country are admitted to the facility in question. He also said that “this decision concerns ensuring the continuity of their education.”
