A district officer and a patrol officer from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, while on duty in the municipality, checked a passenger vehicle driven by a resident of Żagań County. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters: – During the inspection, officers established that the 37-year-old had committed a crime by getting behind the wheel in violation of a six-month court-imposed driving ban.
But that was not the end of it. Two types of drugs were found on the 37-year-old: marijuana and methamphetamine. Officers: – Some of the narcotics were hidden in a pouch, while the rest were in a case located between the car seats.
It also emerged that the man had previously been convicted of drug-related offenses, so he faces up to four and a half years in prison for the latest offense. Violating the court ban carries a sentence of up to five years behind bars.
