Operational activities led to the identification of the suspect, who currently has the phone in her possession. Police officers secured the device from a 40-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County.
The woman explained that she had found the phone not by the ATM, but on a lawn.
Police explain:
Misappropriating found property is a crime punishable under the Criminal Code by a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment for up to one year.
The phone will be returned to its owner.
