We received a video from a reader showing a man throwing rubbish into the bin enclosure by a cooperative apartment block on Jana Pawła II Street in Bolesławiec. According to the reader, the man brings waste from a nearby church every week. Sometimes these are large bags that take up considerable space in the bins. Last Saturday, she managed to record the moment when the man was throwing away the waste.

We established that the church does not have an agreement with Spółdzielnia Bolesławianka to use the bin enclosure.

– The enclosure is locked and is intended for the residents of the property where it stands. No outsiders should throw anything in there or dump anything against the wall. The church does not have an agreement with the Spółdzielnia to use the enclosure. If such incidents occur, I ask residents to report them directly to us; we will respond immediately – says Beata Ślęzak, president of the management board of Spółdzielnia Mieszkaniowa Bolesławianka.

Last Friday, we asked the parish in writing why it does not dispose of its waste in its own containers, but instead uses the residents' bin enclosure. We received no response.

Residents are left with the option of formally reporting the dumping of waste to the Spółdzielnia.
