The incident occurred on Friday, October 14, in the morning, at the Local Control Centre in Bolesławiec. A UPS cabinet caught fire. Eight people evacuated.
The fire was extinguished; fortunately, no one was injured.
Unfortunately, the fire caused disruptions to train services. Koleje Dolnośląskie reports:
Wrocław – Legnica – Bolesławiec – Węgliniec – Lubań Śląski
Service suspended. Smoke in the LCS Bolesławiec rooms. Failure of the railway traffic control equipment between Zebrzydowa and Okmiany.
