A district police officer from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec stopped a cyclist for inspection who was having difficulty riding his vehicle. And it quickly became clear why. KPP Bolesławiec: – The 36-year-old was riding a bicycle on the road with 3‰ of alcohol in his system.

Let us recall that, since 1 January 2022, riding a bicycle after consuming alcohol (from 0.2 to 0.5‰) carries a PLN 1,000 fine. However, if a person riding a bicycle is intoxicated (above 0.5‰), the fine increases to PLN 2,500.
