Based on surveillance footage that recorded the theft, criminal investigators from Bolesławiec identified a suspect. The 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was detained. KPP:
The man explained that he had sold the stolen property to random people.

We remind you that receiving stolen goods is a crime; anyone who acquires an item obtained through a prohibited act is liable to imprisonment for between 3 months and 5 years.
The thief faces the same penalty. But that is not the end of the matter. The man will also answer for driving a car while intoxicated. The 31-year-old was stopped for inspection while returning from mushroom picking. It turned out that he had got behind the wheel with 1 per mille of alcohol in his system. His driving licence was immediately confiscated.
