Crime investigators identified and detained a man suspected of puncturing the tires of a car parked in one of Bolesławiec’s housing estates. KPP Bolesławiec:
Over the course of five weeks, the victim had as many as nine breakdowns caused by punctured tires in his car.
Several times, the damage was repaired without major expense, but twice the victim had to replace a tire. He estimated his losses at more than PLN 2,000.
Officers: – The information gathered led police officers to a 61-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, who had a verbal altercation with the victim in August.
The suspect admitted his guilt. He explained that he punctured his rival’s tires under cover of night. The 61-year-old vandal now faces up to five years in prison.
