On October 7, the Legnica prosecutor’s office was notified that the body of a 74-year-old man from Świętoszów had been found in a Citroën on Kochanowskiego Street in Legnica. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition.
During an examination of the body, no visible injuries were found. Investigators report that, for now, nothing indicates that third parties contributed to the 74-year-old man’s death. Nevertheless, an autopsy is expected to dispel any doubts.
What is most horrifying about this case is the fact that the Świętoszów resident probably died in his car… about a week earlier. It was only a passer-by who became concerned by a smell coming from the aforementioned vehicle and reacted. The man broke a window and notified the emergency services.
The prosecutor’s office and police are investigating the case. Investigators are looking for the man’s daughter, who is believed to live in Legnica.
