During the opening of the operating theatre and the anaesthesiology and intensive care department at the county hospital, Karol Stasik reacted to this success in his own distinctive way.
“Most of you know me as a man who wears a beard,” said Karol Stasik. “To celebrate today’s event, namely the commissioning of the operating theatre, I shaved off my beard. It is a great sacrifice on my part. Once again, congratulations, Director,” added the former county head.
Karol Stasik was county head from 2016 to 2018, and securing funding for an operating theatre during his term would probably have been a greater sacrifice than using a razor. In our opinion, to adequately show how much the former county head did for the hospital during the years when he had influence over it, he could shave off more than just his beard. He could also shave off… his eyebrows, so that it would not be visible how surprised he is that so many investments became a reality as soon as he stopped running the county.
