As reported by rmf24.pl:
General Artur P., when he was still a colonel serving as head of the Świętoszów brigade, allegedly committed fraud, according to investigators, in order to receive his full salary while on sick leave. The prosecutor's office claims that he used a document certifying an untruth. It concerned a certificate stating that he had gone on sick leave because of an ailment caused by military service. At that time—during sick leave—one is entitled to 100 percent of one's salary, rather than 80 percent.
According to the nationwide outlet, P., who retired in January this year, did not formally admit to the alleged offense. He also returned the aforementioned amount.
