– Another group of officers from the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit has already been assigned this year to serve in the Podlaski Unit. Officers from all organizational divisions of our Unit have been sent to provide support – says Maj. SG Joanna Konieczniak, press spokesperson for the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit.
And she explains:
Due to the current migration threats on the eastern section of our country (Putin’s announcement of mobilization and the mass flight of Russians from the country – ed. istotne.pl), intensive operations are being conducted there to protect the state border and prevent and counteract illegal migration.
She adds:
Our officers, together with officers from the Podlaski Border Guard Unit, serve every day to secure the sections of the eastern border most exposed to illegal migration.
