The incident occurred on Friday, 23 September, in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki. Around noon, the emergency services received a report that a woman who had been picking apples had fallen from a height onto a canopy.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Warta Bolesławiecka were operating at the scene and helped bring the injured woman down from the aforementioned canopy. (It is approximately 2.5 m high.)
The woman, who sustained, among other injuries, a serious arm injury, was treated by an emergency medical team.
