Tomasz Gabrysiak, Bolesławiec County governor:
The official opening of the operating theatre and the anaesthesiology and intensive care department will take place on 27 September.
The head of the county authorities recalled that the investment cost almost PLN 11 million. The amount consisted of grants from the Ministry of Health, local authorities—all municipal authorities and the county authorities—as well as the own funds of St. Luke’s Hospital in Bolesławiec. The county governor said:
I didn’t believe it could look this good.
And he added:
I know that the operating theatre may be the last place we would want to have personal contact with. But on the other hand—if we want to save the lives of the residents of our county, this is the heart of the hospital.
