On Monday morning, Bolesławiec traffic police detained a 57-year-old man who was driving with nearly 1 per mille of alcohol in his system. Officers: – The driver arrived at a petrol station located in the Osiecznica municipality. Seeing the man's condition, a bystander immediately notified the services. Shortly afterwards, the driver was detained by police officers.
A second intoxicated driver was detained in the evening in the Bolesławiec municipality during a roadside inspection. The 70-year-old got behind the wheel with 0.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.

In both cases, the cars were handed over to people indicated by the drivers, as the men will be unable to drive vehicles for a long time.
