Due to the discovery of unexploded ordnance, residents of nearby homes within a radius of 300 meters from the site where the ordnance was found must be evacuated. On September 16, 2022, the Mayor orders the evacuation of all persons staying in the city of Bolesławiec in properties located on the following streets:

  3. Emilli Plater, numbers 1 to 13
  4. Słoneczna
  5. Okrzei
  6. Saperska, numbers 4, 6, 8, 10, 21, 23
  7. Konopnickiej, numbers 1, 1a, 1b, 2b, 2c, 2d
  8. Krótka
  9. Zaułek
  10. Łasicka, numbers 2 to 32
  11. Plac Pokoju
  12. Kasztanowa, numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 16
  13. Kilińskiego, numbers 1a, 1b, 1c, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, 9a, 9b, 9c, 10a, 10b
  14. Starzyńskiego, numbers 1 to 23a
  15. Narutowicza, numbers 1 to 24
  16. Zygmunta Augusta
  17. Parkowa, numbers 1 to 11
  18. Tyrankiewiczów, numbers 1, 25a, 25b
  19. Ślusarska, numbers 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b, 13a, 13b, 14a, 14b.

The evacuation will take place on Friday from 10:00 to 12:00. The removal of the unexploded ordnance will begin at 12:30 and continue until further notice.

For the duration of the evacuation, rooms at Primary School No. 4 on Bielska Street have been prepared, where people can shelter. Special MZK buses will be provided for this purpose. People wishing to use the transport should report to the bus stops at:

  • Franciszka Kleeberga Street,
  • Aleja Wojska Polskiego,
  • Łasicka Street – church,
  • Zygmunta Augusta Street (parking lot of the former Police headquarters)

Bus departures: 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 11:30, 12:00.

People needing assistance with evacuation and people requiring medical transport are asked to contact 604 112 842 by phone on Friday before 10:00. Such requests may also be conveyed to police officers, firefighters and Municipal Guard officers working in the area.

From 12:30:

  • road traffic in the danger area will be suspended until further notice,
  • some bus services in the city will be suspended until further notice.

The City Hall will notify residents when the evacuation has ended via SMS, information on the city office’s website and voice announcements.
