Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn established the identities of and arrested the perpetrators of the theft of property from one of the properties in Bolesławiec commune. Police:
Two men, acting together, stole gas cylinders, a furnace and a dishwasher from a private property. They then sold part of their loot at a non-ferrous metal collection point.
And she adds: – As a result of checks at the homes of the 40-year-old and the 21-year-old, police officers secured the stolen dishwasher. Further actions led the officers to the place where the suspects had sold the items obtained through the crime.
Property worth PLN 1,200 was recovered in full. It also came to light that the thieves were traveling in a vehicle that had neither a valid technical inspection nor compulsory insurance, and the driver—the older of the two arrested men—did not... have a driving licence.
Both arrested men are residents of Bolesławiec County, and both are also well known to local police. The men now face up to five years in prison.
