We reported on the matter in the article Poisoned Oder. Tons of dead fish. Government Security Centre issues warning. As reported by farmer.pl:

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has asked selected agricultural chambers, agricultural advisory centres and regional branches of ARiMR to disseminate among farmers keeping animals (...) the information that, until the situation concerning the mass death of fish has been finally clarified, they must absolutely refrain from using water from the Oder and its tributaries to water such animals.

This applies primarily to farmers involved in raising or breeding cattle in the following voivodeships:

  • Opole,
  • Lower Silesian,
  • Silesian,
  • Lubusz,
  • West Pomeranian.

The ban also applies to our county, because the Bóbr is a tributary of the Oder.
