On Sunday, May 23, a flower festival organized by the Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich, the village head and Village Council, the Parish Council, the Sports Club, and the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu was held in Łaziska.
That day, the competition for the most beautiful bouquet was decided. The first prize went to the ladies from the Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich in Parzyce. The women from Kraśnik Dolny came second. Third place went to the ladies from Chościszowice. The circles from Suszki and Łaziska received honorable mentions.
The following female singers performed on stage: Natalia Żebrowska from Bolesławiec, Klaudia Ziembikiewicz and Kamila Wróbel from Łaziska, and Agnieszka Miszkiewicz from Trzebień Mały. Festival participants could also watch a breakdance show.
Folklore enthusiasts also had no reason to complain. That day, the following performed: Zespół Śpiewaczy z Żeliszowa and the group Jutrzenka.
Performances by Dawid Rajfur with the band Cover Power and the band Messence were a nod to the younger audience. The flower festival ended with a dance party that lasted until late at night.
