As established by the police, the driver of a Volkswagen, a 37-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, failed to yield the right of way to a woman driving a Dacia, a 45-year-old resident of our county. The woman was taken to hospital for examinations. Proceedings are being conducted in connection with a road accident.
The incident occurred on Friday, 19 August. Officers from Nowogrodziec:
(…) at 8:37 a.m., a call was received about a road accident in Nowogrodziec, on Chrobrego Street. Two passenger cars collided at the scene.
They added:
Three people were travelling in the cars, two of whom were injured, including one child. Our tasks included securing the scene and providing qualified first aid.
The injured people were attended to by a medical rescue team. Firefighters from Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec, as well as the medical rescue service and police, took part in the operation. The latter is investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
