As reported by the Bolesławiec police, during the long August weekend officers checked 510 people and carried out 181 interventions. A traffic patrol stopped a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old resident of the Silesian Voivodeship. It turned out that the man was driving under the influence. A test showed more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his system.
A 24-year-old driver under the influence of intoxicating substances was also detained. (In this case, officers from the Independent Prevention Police Subunit in Legnica helped remove the irresponsible driver from traffic).
Moreover, eight people possessing substances prohibited by law were detained during the weekend, including two women. District Police Headquarters: – A 22-year-old female resident of Bolesławiec possessed intoxicating substances in the form of 1.81 grams of marijuana, 1.61 grams of methamphetamine and two MDMA tablets.
In addition, traffic police officers, concerned with road safety, carried out 107 checks. The result? Bolesławiec police: – 54 offenses were identified, and 10 registration certificates were seized, removing technically defective vehicles from traffic. No accident was recorded in Bolesławiec County.
