Information has appeared online that firefighting operations at the facility in Osła have ended. That is not entirely true. As we have established, although most of the forces were sent back to their units, three fire service crews remained at the site: one from the State Fire Service and two from the Volunteer Fire Service. The firefighters have moved to the phase of monitoring and securing the transshipment work.
Burned materials are still being spread out. There are also still pockets of fire here and there, which is why the firefighters have not announced the end of operations. They will probably continue until Tuesday morning. (Machines belonging to Prodigo are also working at the site.)
As we have already reported, as soon as the firefighters’ operation ends, the matter will be investigated by inspectors from the Wrocław WIOŚ.
