Sugar shortages seem to have no end. Last week, we checked several popular shops and discount stores where pallets of flour or simply a notice imposing a maximum limit of 10 kg per receipt still occupy the space where sugar should be.

The season when we need sugar twice, or even three times, as much—namely, the time for making preserves—has just arrived, while the market is quite unstable. In addition, wholesale prices can change from day to day. In such a situation, prices in small chain stores can be much lower. That is why small business owners choose the cheaper option, and the result of such a decision is a shortage of stock.

In search of sugar, we travelled around Bolesławiec and found a place where there is still plenty of sugar.

At the WINESTONE WINESTONE restaurant, guests will NEVER RUN OUT of sugar!

At this stylish restaurant, you can order coffee made from carefully selected beans roasted especially for the Bolesławiec restaurant. The staff receive regular training in various coffee-brewing and preparation styles.

Every cup of this invigorating beverage obligatorily comes with white gold—sugar (or brown sugar, as desired).

Winestone, known for its excellent seafood festivals and more, has recently been expanding its dessert selection.

Before deciding on a dessert, guests can choose which offering looks most appealing to them. Various options are displayed in a refrigerated display case in the centre of the restaurant.

In recent days, we have been able to sample delicacies such as:

  • Cider jelly,
  • Mango-coconut mousse,
  • Chocolate cream with mascarpone and fruit,

And many types of cake.

We are sure there will be no shortage of sweets at 2 Plac Popiełuszki, but to ensure that there are enough seats for all our readers, we recommend making a reservation by phone. 573 207 972 or at the bar of the WINESTONE restaurant.
