For almost a week, the media have been reporting on a fire at one of the facilities in the industrial zone in Osła. The fire broke out on Friday, 5 August, in the evening. Fire service operations are still under way. Once they are complete, inspectors from the Jelenia Góra branch of WIOŚ in Wrocław will carry out an inspection.

However, as a Reader informed us, Prodigo itself had already been experiencing problems before the fire. According to a statement published on the MGBI blog, Prodigo is said to have a gigantic debt. On the list of the “10 most indebted companies against which restructuring proceedings were opened in the first quarter of 2022,” the Lower Silesian entity operating a facility in Osła took “high” fourth place, with a debt of: PLN 51,867,194.77.

We will certainly return to this subject.
