As a result of the “Shooting Range in the County 2022” call for proposals, announced by the Ministry of National Defence, Bolesławiec County—one of thirteen entities—received funding of PLN 208,745.49.
What will the money be used for?
The county authorities: – For tasks related to establishing an indoor air rifle shooting range, along with shooting equipment, enabling organised shooting training, particularly among students of upper-secondary schools.
Where will the shooting range be built?
The air rifle shooting range will be built in the building of the Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. The shooting training will primarily be used by students of military-uniformed classes at II LO in Bolesławiec and at the Major Henryk Sucharski Complex of General and Vocational Schools in Bolesławiec.
Additionally, the range is planned to host compulsory shooting classes as part of education for other students from upper-secondary schools run by Bolesławiec County.
