Today saw the official opening of a five-lane air rifle range established in the building of II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka w Bolesławcu, with special participation by Olympic champion Renata Mauer-Różańska.
The shooting range will be used primarily by students from the military-uniformed classes at II Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Janusza Korczaka w Bolesławcu and Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych w im. majora Henryka Sucharskiego w Bolesławcu.
Additionally, the range is intended to host compulsory shooting classes as part of education for safety for other students from secondary schools for which Powiat Bolesławiecki is the governing authority.
The total investment value is PLN 285,000.00, including funding from the Ministry of National Defence amounting to: PLN 208,745.49 and the own contribution of Powiat Bolesławiecki: PLN 76,254.51.
