A fire service vehicle returning from operations at a fire in Osła was involved in an accident on Saturday on the S8 route in the direction of Warsaw, near Wrocław’s Psie Pole district. Three firefighters from the Headquarters of the State Fire Service were traveling in the vehicle. As reported by 24wroclaw.pl, according to preliminary findings, the driver of the firefighting Mercedes lost control while overtaking and hit crash barriers. As a result of the unfortunate accident, one of the officers died and two were injured.
The firefighters’ families are being provided with the necessary psychological support, and the command of the Headquarters remains in constant contact with them.
