Bolesławiec criminal investigators, as a result of operational activities, identified and arrested a suspect in the case of the theft of fencing from the County Headquarters of the State Fire Service. – The perpetrator stole fencing elements, including panels, posts and concrete foundations, from the site where the new unit of Bolesławiec firefighters is to be built. The losses were valued at 15,000 zlotys – reports Staff Sergeant Paweł Noga from the press team of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – Operational activities led both to the perpetrator and to the property lost as a result of the crime.
The 40-year-old resident of Gromadka municipality stole as much as he needed. He installed all the stolen elements in his yard.

The recovered property was handed over to the firefighters, while the suspect, who was known to police for previous property crimes, was charged with theft.
The 40-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
