As we read on the Bolesławiec Municipality website:
Renata is associated with the School and Preschool Complex in Ocice. In June, she received her diagnosis and began treatment.
Unfortunately, it is not fully reimbursed. That is why her loved ones have started a fundraiser on pomagam.pl.
The local authorities add:
We encourage you to support the campaign, and we wish Renata a speedy recovery.
Fundraiser organizer:
My wife Renata devoted her life to one goal – working with children. She gave her heart and 28 years of work, filled with passion and educational successes, to the school and everything connected with it. This fantastic period was brutally interrupted by a terrible diagnosis on June 20 – malignant breast cancer. Renia is currently undergoing preoperative chemotherapy reimbursed by the National Health Fund, but complete recovery requires targeted therapy which, unfortunately, will not be financed by the National Health Fund.
And he appeals:
As is usually the case with cancer, time is crucial – my wife should receive the first dose of the medication as early as August. Its cost is significant – PLN 18,000. The therapy then involves three more doses, bringing the current total to approximately PLN 82,000. This is currently an unattainable sum for us. That is how much the chance of my beloved wife’s life has been valued. Without targeted therapy, Renata has no chance of undergoing surgery…
And he adds:
Together with the entire school community, we ask all people of goodwill for help – I believe that Renia and her students still have many years of a wonderful journey through the complexities of school ahead of them.
How can you help?
