In two cases, the sobriety tests produced positive results. Before 8 a.m., a 42-year-old resident of Lubin County was arrested for driving with more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his system. Shortly afterward, traffic police arrested a 36-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County; the woman was driving a passenger car with 0.6 per mille of alcohol in her exhaled breath.

The third person arrested during Monday’s operation was a 27-year-old man who got behind the wheel despite being subject to a court-imposed driving ban valid until… 2026.

Let us remind you: driving under the influence carries a sentence of up to two years in prison. Violating a court-imposed ban can result in imprisonment for up to five years.
