Bolesławiec criminal investigators, conducting operations aimed at combating drug addiction, determined that a resident of Nowogrodziec municipality was illegally growing plants.
KPP Bolesławiec:
As a result of operational activities, police officers located 40 cannabis plants near the home of the 32-year-old. The plants, placed in buckets, were growing in the forest and were at various stages of growth: from 15 centimetres to 1 metre. Their “gardener,” who cared for proper sunlight and watering, was a resident of Nowogrodziec municipality.
What is more, it turned out that the suspect was wanted by the District Court in Lubań, as he had a sentence to serve for theft.
The man now faces an additional sentence of up to three years in prison.
