Officers from the Police Station in Gryfów Śląski spotted a motorcyclist in Mirsk whom they decided to stop for inspection. – Despite the light and sound signals being issued, the vehicle did not stop – reports Staff Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the police in Lwówek Śląski. – The officers began a pursuit and stopped the driver after several kilometres.
As it turned out, the 31-year-old fled because he was under the influence of narcotic substances. What is more, officers found methamphetamine on the rider.

The evidence collected in the case made it possible to bring the man an additional charge: supplying another person with a narcotic substance for financial gain. By decision of the District Prosecutor in Lwówek Śląski, the man was placed under police supervision as a preventive measure.
The resident of Lwówek County now faces between three months and as many as five years in prison.
