– Safe conduct of rescue operations on the water, using the available equipment, is a very important element of fire service training – emphasise officials from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec.
For three days, at various locations in the district, firefighters from Bolesławiec, together with volunteers from OSP Ocice, Krzyżowa and Trzebień, practised rescue techniques and their skills in operating boats. KP PSP: – A great deal of attention was paid to the safety of rescuers, particularly when exercises were conducted on the Bóbr River near the weir.
Safe holidays were also the central topic of meetings with participants in scout camps held under canvas. On 8 and 11 July, our firefighters, together with firefighters from OSP Trzebień, visited camps in Trzebień Mały and Stara Oleszna, where they gave talks for the scouts.
