Bolesławiec City Hall informs that there is a possibility of extending payment of the benefit for accommodation and meals for a Ukrainian citizen beyond 120 days:

(…) pursuant to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 24 June 2022 amending the regulation on the maximum amount of the cash benefit due for providing accommodation and meals to Ukrainian citizens, as well as the conditions for granting this benefit and extending its payment (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 1336):

  1. The municipality may extend the payment period beyond 120 days in the case of providing accommodation and meals to a Ukrainian citizen who:
    1. has a disability certificate or a certificate of the degree of disability, or a certificate referred to in Article 5 of the Act of 27 August 1997 on vocational and social rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities (Journal of Laws of 2021, items 573 and 1981, and of 2022, item 558);
    2. has a document confirming a first- or second-degree disability issued under the Ukrainian disability certification system;
    3. is aged 60 or over (women) or 65 or over (men);
    4. is a pregnant woman or a person raising a child up to 12 months of age;
    5. is solely caring in the territory of the Republic of Poland for three or more children;
    6. is a minor.
  2. The benefit referred to in point 1:
    1. points 1 and 2 – is payable for the person with a disability, the person caring for them, and each minor child of those persons;
    2. point 4 – is payable for the pregnant woman and each of her minor children, or for the carer raising a child up to 12 months of age and all of that carer’s minor children;
    3. point 5 – is payable for the carer and each minor child;
    4. point 6 – is payable for the minor, the temporary guardian appointed for the minor, and all minor children of the temporary guardian.

The local government adds:

The benefit for extending the benefit period beyond 120 days is granted on the basis of an application submitted, for the period of actually providing, at one’s own expense, accommodation and meals to Ukrainian citizens, and is paid in arrears.

The municipality may make the granting or payment of the benefit conditional on verification of the accommodation and meal provision conditions. Verification is carried out by authorized employees of a municipal organizational unit or a municipal legal entity.
