As previously announced, Klekusiowo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki has installed and activated a monitoring camera at the municipal pond in Bolesławiec. The camera was installed thanks to a fundraising campaign for this purpose.
The camera was installed to improve safety at the pond itself and in its surroundings. Let us recall that in April, someone destroyed the swans’ nest twice and the eggs laid there.
The camera at the municipal pond operates 24 hours a day, is movable and shows the pond from five angles.

The Klekusiowo centre in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki helps various animals, both small and large. The number of animals is constantly growing. Sick, injured or abandoned animals are under the devoted care of the centre’s staff and its caretaker, Mieczysław Żuraw.
Klekusiowo needs help to function normally. As we read on its website:
Our Centre urgently needs your support. We would like to inform you that we are not supported by our State, any organisations, foundations, municipalities, etc. We receive no grants. We cover 95% of our costs thanks to donors’ support and our own funds. Please help us save wild animals at Klekusiowo. The money will be used to purchase food and cover treatment costs.
