– Officers from the Criminal Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra notified the Family and Juvenile Court about an 11-year-old resident of Krosno County who caused a false bomb alarm – reports Sergeant Paweł Noga from the Lower Silesian Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

He adds:

As officers established, the teenager called one of the residents of Jelenia Góra and reported that an explosive device had been planted in his home.

Officers from the non-standing bomb-disposal and reconnaissance unit of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra arrived at the scene with a dog trained to detect the odors of explosive materials and searched the building. The spokesperson said: – After checking the apartment, it became clear that the report had been an 11-year-old’s joke and that there were no dangerous objects in the building.

Procedural and operational activities led to the identification of the “joker.” He admitted his guilt, adding that it had been a “stupid joke.”
