The Bolesławiec County Board adopted resolutions concerning two director positions at secondary schools. Jacek Jurkiewicz will remain head of the School Complex of Building Schools Jacek Jurkiewicz, while Mirosław Sakowski will remain director of the Janusz Korczak Second General Secondary School in Bolesławiec Mirosław Sakowski. So nothing has changed there.
The situation is different at the Ludwik Waryński School Complex of Mechanical Schools in Bolesławiec. No new director was selected. As stated in the resolution:
As the period during which the position of director of the Ludwik Waryński School Complex of Mechanical Schools in Bolesławiec had been entrusted to the current director was ending on August 31, 2022, a competition was announced and held on June 14, 2022. After the committee concluded its deliberations, the committee chair informed the governing body of the outcome of the competition.
As a result of the competition procedure, the Competition Committee did not select a candidate for the position of director of the Ludwik Waryński School Complex of Mechanical Schools in Bolesławiec.
As we have established, the candidate for head of ZSM did not meet the formal requirements. So who will become head of “Mechanik”? It is not known yet. We will return to the subject.

Official comment from the Bolesławiec County Office:
In response to the questions asked, I inform you that the application submitted by the person entering the competition did not meet the formal requirements specified in the competition announcement. Meanwhile, the current director’s term ends on August 31, 2022, and by then the County Board will make an appropriate decision.
