The incident occurred on June 15, at approximately 8:40 p.m., in the area of Czerwona Woda. An accident involving a motorcyclist who was riding with a passenger occurred there. – The cause of the incident was the motorcycle rider’s failure to adjust his speed to the traffic conditions, as a result of which he lost control of the vehicle – explains Sergeant Major Aleksander Litwin of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
He adds: – The rider’s excessive confidence in his abilities may have been connected with the fact that he was under the influence of alcohol.
The 36-year-old Yamaha rider was injured. (Fortunately, the passenger escaped the incident unharmed).
It soon also came to light that the motorcyclist... did not have a driving license because his driving privileges had been revoked by the district governor.
