The organizers of the protests are unhappy with Orlen’s policy, claiming that, despite the exchange rate of the dollar and the price per barrel of oil, the company is driving up prices on the Polish fuel market. The organizers are also not satisfied with how the government is dealing with the problem.
The protests are scheduled for Saturday, June 11. However, the calendar on the website blokujemyorlen.pl/kalendarium/gdzie-bedziemy does not include any locality in Bolesławiec County.
