At the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the final of the 45th National Olympiad of Agricultural Knowledge and Skills was held, with several hundred students from all over Poland taking part. The competition is organized by the Main Committee of the National Olympiad of Agricultural Knowledge and Skills at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, while the event received the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych im. Jana Kochanowskiego w Bolesławcu: – Students of the veterinary technical school at ZSHiU are among the best in Poland. Klaudia Oreszczuk, a fourth-year student, won the title of Olympiad laureate in the veterinary science category, while Sara Węglicka, a third-year student, became an Olympiad finalist in the animal production category. As a result, the students received admission indexes for all fields of study at Poland’s universities of life sciences and are exempt from vocational examinations.
The students were prepared for the Olympiad by vocational-subject teachers: Dr Katarzyna Igielska and veterinary physician Zuzanna Królak.
