The cars collided on Friday, May 27, after 9:00 a.m., in Różyniec. According to preliminary information, two people were injured.
OSP Różyniec about the incident:
9:27 a.m. – dispatch to an accident on the A4, at kilometre 51. While travelling to the incident on the motorway, we were informed that another accident had occurred in our locality, and the SK dispatcher reassigned us to the accident in Różyniec. When we arrived at the scene, it turned out that one of our fellow firefighters was involved in the accident: while responding to the call, he collided with a van.
According to the police, the 31-year-old Renault driver, a resident of Bolesławiec County, hit the rear of a Ford. He bounced off it and crossed into the opposite lane, where he struck a Mercedes. Fortunately, no one was injured. The perpetrator was fined PLN 1,500.
