On Tuesday afternoon, two cyclists were riding along the cycle path beside the Bolesławiec bypass, from the roundabout near Łaziska towards Leśny Potok. At the exit towards the military unit, a 64-year-old man hit a bent road sign and suffered a shoulder injury. The man was taken to hospital.
According to a reader, the sign was bent towards the cycle path. The cyclist may not have noticed it while it was raining.
The sign was most likely bent earlier by a vehicle using the bypass entrance/exit. Unfortunately, it was bent towards the cycle path used by the injured cyclist. We appeal to the road manager to address the problem of the bent sign.
The police are establishing the details of the incident.
