Above the Bóbr River, near the viaduct, B-1 signs (no traffic in either direction) have appeared. They do not apply only to “bicycles and vehicles belonging to municipal services and Wody Polskie.”
Will this stop reckless drivers and vandals? We invite you to join the discussion.
The bans seem justified. It is enough to recall an incident that took place on this year’s Valentine’s Day, after 3:00 p.m. The entire incident was recorded by our cameras:
The “racers” tore up the ground and lawn; they went wild not only on the asphalt surface, but also on the blue rubber one, where children play and which wears away easily.
Municipal officials reported at the time: – A few minutes of riding a motocross motorcycle caused damage to the surface that may pose a danger to other users.
And they added:
It is worth remembering that the facilities at this sports and recreation complex are intended exclusively for riding on rollerblades, skateboards, BMX and MTB bicycles, and scooters.
Entering with any kind of motor vehicle—motorcycles or quad bikes—is prohibited.
