The istotne.pl editorial office has received reports that the municipal football pitches in Bolesławiec are neglected. They have not been mowed, dandelions are growing on them, and they are generally in poor condition (they are unsuitable for training and playing). In addition, because of the growing dandelions, they have reportedly become the subject of mockery and jokes by players from other clubs who recently played matches in Bolesławiec.
Here is how one of the coaches described the situation at the pitch on Spacerowa Street:
Coach on the pitch on Spacerowa Street
We contacted the director of MOSiR in Bolesławiec, Paweł Dul, about the matter. During a telephone conversation, he admitted that there is a problem with dandelions this year and that it concerns not only the football pitches. Regarding grass mowing at sports facilities, he informed us that the pitch on Spółdzielcza Street was mowed on 11 May.
The pitch on Spacerowa Street, meanwhile, is scheduled to be mowed today (Friday, 13 May). As for the grass itself, we were informed that it is being strengthened with a special fertilizer. Regarding maintenance, the director said that all the pitches had been aerated this year and that all maintenance work is being carried out on an ongoing basis.
